Notification Troubleshooting

If timer notifications do not appear, open iOS Settings, find Perfect Egg Timer, and confirm notifications are allowed. You can still use the in-app alarm while the app is open.

On Android, also check that alarms and reminders or exact alarms are allowed for Perfect Egg Timer. Some devices may delay timer alerts when battery saver, Do Not Disturb, or exact alarm access blocks background alarms.

Cooking Tips

• Enter the egg weight as accurately as possible for the best result.
• Use fridge temperature for cold eggs and room temperature for eggs left out before cooking.
• Use manual altitude if you cook significantly above sea level.
• Cool eggs immediately after cooking to stop carryover cooking.
